Bag filter life isn’t determined by the number of hours or days they’re in service—it’s determined by the amount of particulate they capture. If your process is generating more solids, or if contamination levels have increased, the bags will naturally plug faster and won’t last as long.
It’s also important to consider whether anything in your process has changed. Has the liquid chemistry, viscosity, or particulate load shifted? Are you still operating under the same flow rates and run times as before? Even small process changes can significantly impact bag life.
